What Cancer Treatments Are Covered by Medicare?
Cancer services and items that are covered by Original Medicare (Medicare Part A and Medicare Part B) include:

All Medicare Advantage plans are required by law to provide coverage for the above treatments except for hospice care. Medicare Advantage beneficiaries still receive hospice coverage through Medicare Part A.
Medicare Advantage plans with prescription drug coverage and Medicare Part D plans both typically cover many of the medications prescribed for cancer treatments. Drugs that are administered by a doctor or other health care professional may be covered by Medicare Part B.
